Development of a platform for a secure Internet of Things
The importance of the internet of things in technical applications is growing but there are still many issues which need to be solved before a complete secure IoT exists. One of these issues is the Security of the IoT which is separately handled in every currently existing IoT solution, which makes it difficult to cooperate between the different solutions. SerIoT wants to optimize information security in IoT platforms and networks in a holistic, cross-layered manner in order to offer a secure SerIoT platform that can be used to implement secure IoT applications and networks anywhere.
Austriatech brings in its expertise of the transport and mobility sector and works on a Smart City Use case with C-ITS applications in a living lab environment in Vienna, Austria.
